Above: A.P.T., creator of this website, and the video for his very popular pro-Barack Obama song, “Obama Milli Remix” (a.k.a. Lil Wayne “A Milli” Parody)!

Greetings!

My name is Aaron P. Taylor, aka A.P.T.! (So yes, now you know where the name comes from – it’s my initials.  Complicated, ain’t it?)

Thank you for checking out my page!  In creating this site, I had one simple goal: to get enough fans here to be able to go on tour and get PAID for performing my music!

To help achieve this goal, I have dedicated myself to uploading a new song AND music video on this page each and every Sunday for one full year (May 2008 – May 2009), or until I get a record deal, whichever comes first!

Some of these videos will be brilliant pieces of work, while others will be crappy.  Regardless of how the videos look, the important thing is for me to get my music out there for people to listen to!

All the songs will be available for download.  Some are FREE downloads, while others will have a miniscule cost.  Donations are also happily accepted.  I’d love to be able to make more money off my music than at my current job, which, while it pays the bills, is not as exciting as the idea of being on the road connecting with others through my music!!

Oh yeah a little bit about me: I’m 27, live in the Burbank, CA area, graduated from Hampton University, enjoy making songs and beats, can cook a mean breakfast consisting of potatoes, fish and eggs, and my favorite dessert is my Mom’s peach cobbler.

Oh – and I NEVER want kids.  If you want to know why, head over to my OTHER website, www.WhyImNeverHavingKids.com. Yes, that is a real website.

That’s all from me!  What follows are the links to all my albums & mixtapes, as well as the blog pages featuring my videos and the download links to the songs accompanying them.  Enjoy!

Where is the the song “I just want the paper?”

    I wanted to download it.

  2. I’m one of the staff writers for a new magazine and I’m interested in possibly talking to you about working together.

We’re a new magazine that focuses on the community and the artists that rise from it. Every month we create a mixtape with indie artists from all over the country. We’re based in Las Vegas, so we drop the LV Only mixtape every 4th of July. (it’s still on the site for downloading if you want to check it out!) -Next month we’re doing the Bay Area and in Sept. we’re doing the Derrty South! Contact me if you’d be interested in being part of our project.

Your Obama–Lil Wayne parody/satire is genius. This is funnier, more clever than most of the fare one views on Saturday Night Live and MAD-TV.

So keep up the fabulous work–good things will come your way!

    A fan,
    Dave

Dude, you are awesome. I hadn’t heard from you for a while, so I came looking, and ended up finding “Stop Cockblockin”. That’s a really good song, don’t know why it isn’t bigger.

Anyway, I know you’re pretty busy right now, but you should think about getting a Twitter account. It’s cool cuz it lets you connect directly with fans, even really big stars use it as a way to talk with their fans. If you do, you should find me: twitter.com/odai123
